MicroStation V8i SELECTseries 3 Basics -- Surface and Mesh Modeling (Part 3)
Creating a new file from a seed file, we use MicroStation V8i SELECTseries 3 to start creating our model. First we set up our work space preferences, including view spaces and background color.
After placing a Bezier curve, use the Surface Modeling tool to create a simple design shape.
With Mesh Modeling, we add a mesh to our simple shape-allowing for instant export to rapid prototype. We review the vast types of export files and export the simple shape as STL file.
