To reduce the need for human interaction with the production of a marketable fertiliser produced from the excreta of the Tenebrio Molitor beetle's developmental phase, the team has employed Arduino sensors to monitor conditions in the room and individual boxes continuously. They use the collected data to train an AI system that autonomously controls the room's environment, doubling production capacity and halving the project's carbon footprint.
