In the teachings of our people they say that the first world is where we first became beings of awareness. True to the teachings of the 4 worlds… this is referred to as the Black World.
The next world is called the Blue World. Where we became Air Beings. There was a disagreement and one of the Holy Beings set fire to that world.
From there, we moved into the Yellow World.
These teachings are sacred. Many if not most of our Navajo people do not have access to these stories and teachings as all the elders are going on to the next place.
