Building a U Shaped Stair in CAD:

Hey there! Erik from CADAvenue here, and in this video, I'll walk you through how to build a 3D stair in CAD using the AEC module. We'll cover how to create the stair using the elevation line command and simple extrusion techniques to build walls around it – all in a straightforward, easy-to-follow way.
To create a 3D stair from a 2D elevation in CAD, you can start by drawing the stair’s side profile using the elevation tool. This will show each tread, riser, and landing. Use the "Polyline" tool to outline the shapes, ensuring that the heights and widths are accurate. Once you have the 2D elevation, use the "Extrude" command to turn that shape into a 3D model by setting the width of the stair. After that, you can use tools like "Rotate3D", "Move", and "Rotate" to position the stair correctly within your model. Finally, add railing and other walls to complete it.
