Our Project-Based Core includes courses that are specifically designed to develop essential skills that give you practical hands-on experience, in collaboration with the community and your colleagues. For example, ...our computing science students created an app for the City of Calgary that measured speeding in relation to total commute time. The app proved that speeding wouldn’t make much of a difference, showing the benefits of driving the speed limit.
Experiences like this help you gain essential skills and build a portfolio filled with a breadth of education, knowledge and experience that will equip you for meaningful employment.
