(1990) Article 99 set - KC, MO
We wandered onto the Article 99 set at the Liberty Memorial asking if we could watch them film and got a rude California “no!” The director was Howard Deutch who also made Some Kind of Wonderful, which up to this very moment I thought was directed by John Hughes. What a cast: Ray Liotta, Kiefer Sutherland, Forest Whitaker, Lea Thompson, John C. McGinley, John Mahoney, Keith David!!, Kathy Baker, Eli Wallach, Jeffrey Tambor. I don’t remember the movie being very good but maybe it’s time for a rewatch. Also, I never claimed to be a smart person but I was especially stupid in HS.
