Photomontage Postcards - Hannah Hoch Myth Debunked
Years before Photoshop and even the surrealist cultural movement, photographers cleverly manipulated images to create impossible worlds. Some credit the Dada artist Hannah Hoch with being the pioneer of the process but many of the photomontage postcards in this video have been stamped with postmarks that predate her earliest photomontage and even the Dada art movement itself.
