Belt Length Changes Calculation:
When changing Pulleys inevitably the length of the belt will change. To figure out the belt length you need to get measurements of both pulleys and the shaft center distances.
For Example:
Motor Pulley lower case d = 10.7”.
Blower Pulley upper case D = 16”.
Center to Center Shaft Measurement is C = 20”.
Belt Length= 2 x C+[1.57 x (D+d)]+(D-d)^2/(4 x C)
Step 1: Belt Length= 2 x 20"+[1.57 x (16"+10.7")]+〖(16"-10.7")〗^2/(4 x 20")
Step 2: Belt Length= 2 x 20 "+ [1.57 x 26.57]"+〖(5.3")〗^2/80"
Step 3: Belt Length= 40 "+ 41.71"+28.09"/80"
Step 4: Belt Length= 40 "+ 41.71 + .351"
Step 5: Belt Length = 82”
