Telephony 101 - Faxing (with Analog, Digital, & IP Lines)
Whether faxing for legal requirements, compliance purposes, or just because it's easy; faxing is still a requirement of many businesses. Sending and receiving faxes works perfectly over analog POTS lines, and digital lines (such as a T1 or PRI); but SIP trunking and hosted solutions can be a challenge. Faxing is very sensitive to line conditions, and not all Internet Connections are created equally.
