Initial technical inspection on 2TB HP SAS drive
A short video clip on how the initial HDD diagnostics are done at our lab. In this video, our engineer is inspecting a failed HP 2TB SAS drive. The drive has been unmounted from HPE MSA 2040 SAN storage as it was not recognizable due to some reasons. The internal structure of SAS drives are different compared to traditional hard drives. Data recovery from damaged SAS drives is a challenging job and needs a certain set of skills and experience.
