Clearing Overgrow Field - Brush-hog Transforms Tall Grass
My nephew and I decided to clear the overgrown pasture. It has been over a year since this field has been cleared, as you can see there is ragweed standing over 8ft high, thistle has also taken over. I will be attempting to maintain this field to prevent excessive weed growth next year. By clearing the field we will also be creating travel lanes for deer, this ease of access should increase deer activity prior to and during deer season.
We are using a New Holland Boomer 40 with a 6ft brush hog,
