Fixing Shisui's Biggest Plot Hole
Kotoamatsukami is said to be the strongest genjutsu in the Naruto series. Shisui Uchiha Mangekyou Sharingan ability is capable of controlling its target without them even realizing. Danzo uses Kotoamatsukami in the 5 Kage Summit on Mifune to make himself the leader of the Shinobi Alliance. Itachi uses Kotoamatsukami with the crow he put into Naruto with Shisui's eye to release himself from the Edo Tensei control during the Naruto and Bee vs Itachi and Nagato fight.
These are the only two usages of the Jutsu we see in Naruto Shippuden. Shisui didn't have much screentime, the only scene we see him in the manga is a flashback showing Shisui's death. We see a filler scene of Shisui vs Danzo where Danzo uses Izanagi to counter Kotoamatsukami. So in this video we will explain some apparent inconsistencies with Kotoamatsukami as well as fix plot holes regarding the jutsu.
