Down the prospect, under bright lights,
Through the cityscape at night,
I am walking because my legs are strong as oak trees
I am able to walk, so I walk to see the sights.
Displays in windows and jumbotron screens,
Constantly, expensive limos are flying right past me.
In them, the women speed by with sharp eyes that pierce like lightning,
Cold hearts, so very frightening, golden hair, bleaching and whitening.
City of dreams and fairytales
You will disappear forever if you fall into its veil.
Inhaling its air comprised of drafts and colds,
Scents of costly perfumes and petrol, uncontrolled.
