In this training video, we will start applying the subspindle tool path to our project in OneCNC Lathe Expert. Building on the previous video, where we flipped the part geometry 180° and set up a new tool path group for the subspindle with the proper postprocessor, we will now apply the necessary tool paths to this new setup.

Key Topics Covered:

Introduction to Subspindle Tool Path:
Recap of the previous video: flipping part geometry and setting up the subspindle tool path group.
Importance of using the correct postprocessor for subspindle operations.
Hiding the Solid Model:
Using the letter 'S' for select mode and 'B' for the blank tool to temporarily hide the solid model.
Alternative access to the blank tool via the top menu.
Applying Roughing Operation:
Selecting the start and end points of the geometry for the roughing tool path.
Choosing the direction and side of the tool path relative to the geometry.
Defining the Tool:
Accessing the tool library and selecting a tool for the operation.
Setting tool parameters such as turret position, feed rate, and spindle speed.
Tool Path Parameters:
Understanding the Z clearance and X clearance values and their importance in defining the start location of the tool path.
Explanation of cut direction, retract clearance, and groove control settings.
Tool Path Approach and Exit:
Setting cut to end and cut from start parameters to control how the tool path approaches and exits the geometry.
Using overcut and entry amount to fine-tune the tool path.
