So you've started a game of Biospheres and it's harder than Biomass. Definitely expected! Here are some tips that are bound to help you in your terraforming efforts:
Read the "?" buttons if you get stuck on anything. The faction leader will be happy to explain anything to you over and over and over and over and over...
Focus primarily on the terrestrial side. The aquatic side doesn't count towards the growth on the Biomass stats page, so just focus on those land-based leafy greens!
Be sure to build enough facilities to house your organisms. That sentence seems off but trust that you'll need those facilities for organism slots.
Remember: blue means microorganism, green means plant, and red means animal. For terraforming purposes, green (terrestrial plants) are going to be the most important, with blue required to support them.
Hold off on creating organisms until your world can sustain them. If you try to make microorganisms from the get-go on Mars, they'll die immediately. Check out that health stat and try to get it as close to 1.00 on all stats!
