How to Build the Space Elevator | TerraGenesis Tutorials
To build the space elevator in TerraGenesis, you'll need to first ensure that you have a city on or near the equator, or within 3°S / 3°N. This is because the tether that attaches to the Earth needs to stay as stable as possible and not experience much tilt over the course of the year.

Once you've built your socket city on or near the equator, you can then proceed to build the space elevator.
Protip: If you're on Mars, here's a great spot to build -- first, find Olympus Mons, then look to the right. You'll notice three smaller mountains. Tap on the one in the middle and you'll be safe within the correct coordinates.
NOTE: This only works on Normal and Expert mode; satellites are unavailable in Beginner mode.
