Antonio Vivaldi - Donec ponam visualisation
This is a music visualisation of Antonio Vivaldi's Dixit Dominus RV 807, Donec Ponam.
The animation was made in After Effects, guided by Harry Frank (the link to the tutorial is here - http://www.redgiantsoftware.com/video....
I used a few plugins made by Trapcode. Trapcode Soundkeys was used to generate three keyframes for each frame of the animation, one for the lower frequencies, another for the mid-range frequencies, and another one for the high frequences.
Trapcode Form was used to create the waves from the bottom of the image, then three layers each with the Trapcode Particular was applied, each with different settings for different effects, The stars in the background were made with Trapcode Form, while the rays were made with Trapcode Shine.
Over all these layers was the Omino Glass effect, which makes the image look a bit blurry, as if you're looking in water, the objects are distorted.
Over all these, Trapcode Starglow was used to make the particles glow and shine. The composition was then precomposed and coloured in Magic Bullet Mojo. No keyframes were used for this video.
The last but not least, the final video was rendered - this meant over 25 hours on my laptop for almost 3 mins of final video.
