The long, bumper harvest of matsutake mushrooms has finally come to an end.
They began to sprout in mid-September and were harvested until October 30th. It was a wonderfully bountiful year.
From now on, we'll be passing the baton to late-autumn mushrooms such as Shimofurishimeji.
