This week I discuss the sudo command, and editing the /etc/sudoers file with either gedit, vi, nano, emacs, notepad, sudoedit, and visudo, and the most secure way to edit this file that allows standard users to run a command with root privileges.
Also I cover Pluggable Authentication Modules which adds types of active directory features to Linux, such as password length and complexity. PAM modules covered include pam_tally2, pam_access, pam_loginuid, and pam_limits (which adds ulimit features).
