NIKKE Over Zone OST - Satellites [AshanXguitarist]
Happy New Years everyone!!! I'm been meaning to cover "Satellites" someday after playing through the half-anni in NIKKE, but could never figure out when exactly I wanted to. Only a few days ago I realized it'd be a great way to start the new years ("go towards a new day" being a key lyric, since the song's all about moving forward and all). Amalee is an amazing vocalist and I was stoked to find out she did the vocals in the original track, I remember listening to her Honkai Impact 3rd covers and loved them!
Now, there's a huge deep meaning to this song for any NIKKE players out there who played through the half-anniversary event, and I won't spoil any of it for anyone who hasn't played. Just know: this song pops up in the background during an amazing and moving speech. I know I promised to do Red Ash OSTs, and I certainly will get to those eventually - I really wanna cover Black Stallion afterall, the song is super amazing haha. It's just this felt right to kick off the new years (I was planning to have it ready by New Years day but life is busy, yada yada yada, and honestly 48h later for an upload is not the most late I've been for a "holiday-inspired" cover bwahaha).

P.S I managed to buy that 1974 El Degas Les Paul Lawsuit Copy during Christmas day 2023, and this is her first recorded solo since getting her. I've always wanted one since I was in high school and researched the history of the El Degas brand (I was blessed to have the red El Degas bass as a hand-me-down from my dad, which inspired my to look more into that brand in general and do my research).
