"You're a mean one Mr. Grinch".... you really are indeed. Barely had any time to record this due to getting Covid, then Bronchitis immediately following after. My vocals were still shot at the time of recording, so for the most part I stayed low range for this cover (though I did try to attempt some highs here and there). I will say this cover is heavily inspired by Small Town Titan's cover of Mr. Grinch (basically the same bass line and chord progression, though I did extend it with the fifth verse and tried to adlib some of the 6th verse). I ended up needing to delay the other Nikke covers I had planned from the Red Ash soundtrack, and ended up missing Jared Dines' shred solo collab contest (I was planning to work on my entry immediately after finishing the Angel's Cry cover, but Covid happened ;-;). Anyways enough complaining, I'm starting to sound like the Grinch lmfaoo (maybe that's why I ended up choosing this song for this Christmas? hmmmm?).
