In a nutshell, I disavow the false dichotomy of analog vs. digital workflows in architectural representation. I use both. My students are currently engaged in a final composite board that will include works they have done both digitally and by hand (analog.) Today I put together this video known as GIMPtrix. There are certain magical things that a raster program such as Photoshop and GIMP (open-source) can do to help students achieve their vision. I set myself a constraint of a 6-minute silent video that my students can use for learning some magic tricks. Each of these ideas is scalable for use on a presentation board.
