Architectural Skills 2 is the second in a series of architectural engineering courses at the University of Cincinnati. At the time of this posting, COVID19 rages on in the US, and school is back in session in the Fall Semester 2020. For most students this means several online courses. Studio courses differ from lecture format classes. Since it may be confusing to some students how it will work this term, associate professor Eric Inglert provides guidance about how our course will be managed online.
All content in the video is owned by the author, because it was "custom crafted" for this purpose. The backing track, "Gypsy Boy," is part of an in-process and audacious, for a nerdy architect of a certain age, electronic music EP made under Eric's producer name, "Eileton*." As a side note, the vocal sample is old T.K. Wheat "rapping" at his kitchen table on a Radio Shack mono track cassette recorder one stormy night in the early 1970s of central Hoosierland. Eileton has decontextualized it for our current milieu. It pairs well with a nice tall bourbon over ice and its sister compilation, the soon-to-be-released track "Country Boy."
Stop moping and get out there and create something new and you.
