I have had a few runs in the much-hyped Asics Superblast 2 shoes and I wanted to try them under race conditions.
I hadn't hit 50km yet when I lined up in the Sunshine Coast half marathon. While this was not a full out effort, I did push the pace and the 21.1km race gave me a good feel for the shoe.
