The smooth ride towards Mohamed Sultan Road completed without any error, rider was very please as I made a u-turn for his convenience. As soon as the trip completed I was needed at Plaza Singapura.

As I proceeded towards the Plaza Singapura, I found that the distance is almost 3km away, I was a bit shocked as I received all the previous request from a short distance. Although I knew that Uber had set the perimeter for picking up with a 5km radius, it still surprised me on this longer distance pick up.
On my way there I was charged $1 for the ERP (Electronic Road Pricing), back then we drivers have to bear this extra cost. More than one year later, Uber now allow driver to reimburse this Inward bound Toll charge.
Upon reaching the place, another mistake was made as I turned too early onto another lane. A silly mistake that kept repeating, I guess I was still nervous on this first day of Ubering. Based on this rate, pretty soon I might have to refill the petrol.
I finally picked up the riders, they are from Australia and they learnt that to own a car here, first you need to purchase the COE (Certificate of Entitlement). Which would cost you around $50K based on the latest pricing. They were shocked to find out the price of my humble Toyota Vios is equal to a BMW back in their home.
As this was a short distance trip and within 10 minutes it was completed, before it ended I received another new request. This time it came from the Cuppage Plaza, which is also in the Orchard area.
When I arrived I couldn't locate the rider, as I pulled over at the road side the rider called me. He told me he was at the "Corner of Orchard", which was difficult for me to visualized. I decided to drive another round and told the rider to wave at me if he spotted me.
Eventually he managed to locate me and we proceed to his destination, which is at Anson road. It was also a short distance trip and it was done within 10 minutes as well. Two short trips within the 30 minutes mark and I needed a puff badly, I headed over towards Chinatown and found a spot for a short break.
