Smart/RG Forward Thinking 802.11n VDSL2 Internet Modem/Router. Model: SR506n. Unboxing
Just got this modem from VMedia to signup for their DSL Internet service. We decided to get services for DSL Phone line Internet and Cable Internet, so that if either one goes down, we will still have internet. The Rogers outage July 8th, 2022 took out our internet for a day and a half, and it wasn't fun, so we decided to protect ourselves from internet outages by getting internet from both DSL and cable.
Luckily our wireless routers at home can handle load balancing and WAN Aggregation. We will be using WAN Aggregation to combine the 2 internet speeds together, though load balancing would better handle outages.
