We travelled to Jodhpur in the month of August. Our first destination to start exploring this beautiful state, started from the city of Royals, Jodhpur. Join us as we embark on a journey to Jodhpur, the majestic "Blue City" of Rajasthan, during the vibrant month of August. Known as the city of Royals, Jodhpur offers a rich tapestry of history, culture, and stunning architecture that beckons every traveller.

We always wanted to show the rich history, culture and the wonderful architecture that Jodhpur Offers. This vlog is an effort to showcase the rich history of Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant thada and its surroundings. Watch this Vlog to be a part of the Royal History of India.
Mehrangarh Fort covers an area of 1,200 acres (486 hectares) in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The complex is located on a hilltop around 122 meters above the surrounding Plain, and was constructed circa 1459 by Rajput ruler Rao Jodha, Though most of the existing structure is from the 17th century.
Inside its boundaries there are several palaces known for their intricate carvings and expansive courtyards, as well as a museum housing various relics. A winding road leads to and from the city below. To the left of the fort is the chhatri of Kirat Singh Soda, a soldier who fell on the spot defending Mehrangarh.
The Jaswant Thada is a cenotaph located in Jodhpur, in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It was built by Maharaja Sardar Singh of Jodhpur State in 1899 in memory of his father. Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, and serves as the cremation ground For the royal Rajput family of Marwar.
