Why We Do What We Do
This composite features my best work covering some of our biggest stories of 2022. It starts with our most important role: public safety. The first section includes coverage following an earthquake in San Jose. I worked hard to find archival footage, going back decades, to help put things into perspective for our viewers. Then, you'll see how I showcased exclusive investigations from our I-Team unit. We rarely have all three reporters turning stories in one show and I built it up to highlight the important work they did on the pandemic. Finally, the composite wraps up with a focus on the positive and a look at solutions that can improve long-standing issues like drug use in San Francisco's Tenderloin district.
This composite was my submission for the 2022 Emmy Awards in the Live Producer Category.
