Join us for an online workshop exploring how to get started making your own custom devices for biological research!
This is a recording of the first session of the No-Code Programming for Biology Online workshop held on 11th and 13th November 2020.
This workshop accompanies tutorial material from the first two lessons of the No-Code Programming for Biology Beginner's Guide, which is available to download for free on our website (link below). You will learn about the starter kit, the microcontroller and the XOD IDE, as well as how to test your board and programme an LED, buzzer, button and knob potentiometer.
It uses a simple Arduino board with inbuilt components and sensors (links below) combined with the free visual programming software XOD (link below), to get you started with programming a microcontroller and building simple electronic devices.
