Join us for an online workshop exploring how to get started making your own custom devices for biological research!
This is a recording of the second session of the No-Code Programming for Biology Online workshop held on 11th and 13th November 2020.
This workshop accompanies tutorial material from the second and third lessons of the No-Code Programming for Biology Beginner's Guide, which is available to download for free on our website (link below).You will learn about useful XOD nodes for editing, debugging, control and formatting, as well as how to make new nodes, and use a small OLED display screen.
It uses a simple Arduino board with inbuilt components and sensors (links below) combined with the free visual programming software XOD (link below), to get you started with programming a microcontroller and building simple electronic devices.
