I picked up three old generators at an auction. All of them were listed as SCRAP… no guarantees, no testing, nothing. So today we’re doing it the Nice Junk way — pull the cord, hit the starter, and see what happens.
No repairs.
No rebuilds.
No “fix it” content.
Just pure scrap-yard problem solving.
Generator #1: The old Pincor
Generator #2: Coleman Powermate
Generator #3: The heavy Onan (the final boss)
If any of these fire up, great.
If not… well, copper is still copper.
Stick around — I’ll show you the compression checks, the first start attempts, and what I’m planning to do with each one next. The Onan teardown alone is going to be wild.
Thanks for watching Nice Junk!
Now go find your own nice junk.
