FLYING THE TREX 800E TREKKER HELICAM
Finally got it together after months of trying to find out what was wrong with my Rig :-) turned out you need the shocks on the front of the mount fairly stiff! Before they were loose so the camera was bouncing around causing the BeastX to counter act the camera movements so now I am a very happy pilot.
So I decided to do this video to show it in action using a few cameras, step daughter was holding the handy cam, despite the very good image stabilization I think she needs more practice. Also used a couple of Gopro 3 Blacks on the ground and a Canon 100D DSLR mounted to the 800 with a Tokina 12-24mm lens.
This is a fairly stock Trex 800e Trekker but with added rear battery mount to hold a counterbalance weight. A gryphon power system to power the HV servos and a Photoship One Front Mount System.
Despite the gusty conditions I think she did fairly well, just need to lock in the tail a bit more.

One other thing the head speed is 1800 rpm to match the 30 FPS on the Canon which reduces the vibrations to next to nothing :-)
