Release Day - June, 2023
It's release day! Watch the Heal the Bay Aquarist Team release some amazing marine animals back into the wild.
The California Department of Fish & Wildlife (CDFW) recently granted permission for us to release two adult male horn sharks, and a barred sand bass into the Santa Monica Bay. We released them down at King Harbor and off the coast of Palos Verdes into the nearby kelp forest habitat. Thank you for joining us on this incredible experience.
