Sass Interviews About the Shooting of Garrett Foster on Cuomo Prime Time, July 27th, 2020
It's been nearly a year since Garrett was shot and killed. The person who murdered him, Daniel Perry, has been indicted on charges of murder, aggravated assault, and deadly conduct. He paid a bond of $300,000 to be released and the case will likely go to trial.
I would like to make a clarification about a fact I had wrong at the time of the interview. When Daniel stopped his vehicle, there was no no one in front of his vehicle for at least 20 feet. I discovered this later after talking to other witnesses. Daniel had no reason to stop other than to "shoot center of mass", a line he previously used on social media specifically in the context of how to deal with protesters.
