I'm not a Lutris fan but I haven't been able to get this game to work under Steam Play/Proton or the latest version of Wine (9.14). An earlier attempt was rough because I didn't fully install all of the runners and options on Lutris. In order to get this game working, you will need the LUG Helper. My referral code if you buy the game is STAR-KWY7-47NL and I think we both get a gift.

With the newer version of Wine behind Lutris, and newer DVXK and other files, the game FPS has been increased. It's running smoother despite higher graphic settings.
My system is AMD 5800x, 32gb DDR4, NVME, AMD RX 6700 TX
I'm using the Ubuntu 6.11 RC 2 stock Kernel.

Next, I will compile my own version of the Kernel with some modifications to the Kernel Makefile to include -O3 -march=native which probably won't do much because we're locked into the binaries of Lutris but I'll try it for the AMDGPU module.
For Nvidia GPU owners, you can further turn the Nvidia Kernel module from what I can tell. Here's a guide:

Lutris can use Steam Proton! So whatever you install in Steam, Lutris can detect it and use it. Imagine if you could compile Proton and compile it for your specific CPU!

You can compile the Kernel on most Linux distros and this can help pep up games but it's not for the inexperienced.
