Sterling Drake - "Neon Lights & Cheap Perfume" - Acme Radio Session
Longtime Acme regular and real life cowboy Sterling Drake stopped by the studio back in February to perform some new tunes for us. Splitting his time between performing in Nashville and working as a rancher in Montana, Drake's duality primes the talented artist to write both vulnerable, heartache songs and honky tonk boot-scooters.
Fresh off a win in the category of "Male Honky Tonk Artist" at the 2024 Ameripolitan awards, Drake can be classified by his honey-coated voice, gentle melodies, and, certainly, the authenticity of his writing. We're pleased to bring you this session of Sterling performing "Neon Lights & Cheap Perfume," which cannot be found on his most recent release Jereco Sessions, but is available via an "unmixed version" on his SoundCloud page.
