Tommy Bomb - "Body Signs" - Acme Radio Session
Local rock outfit Tommy Bomb is Acme Radio's "Best Artist Ever (of the Month)" this month! Every now and again, a band comes around that reminds us garage rock and sludgy, fuzz-addled guitars dominated the Nashville music community well into the 2010s (see: Ranch Ghost, Jeff the Brotherhood, DP, Fly Golden Eagle, Lasso Spells, and literally a million others). This 2022-born quintet certainly keeps that tradition alive.
With a raw, kinetic energy that somehow seems simultaneously nostalgic for a bygone, golden era as well as fresh and exciting for rock lifers, we're excited that the group has released a slew of singles for the first time this year; and here, they perform rollicking single, "Body Signs."
