Create and Assign Factory Calendar
To create and assign a factory calendar in SAP, you can follow these steps:
Creation of a factory calendar:
a. Go to transaction code SCAL.
b. Click on the "Factory Calendar" option.
c. Click on the "New Entries" button.
d. Enter a unique factory calendar ID and description.
e. Select the "Workdays" tab and define your workdays.
f. Save your changes.
Assignment of the factory calendar to a plant:
a. Go to transaction code SPRO.
b. Click on "SAP Reference IMG."
c. Navigate to "Enterprise Structure - Assignment - Logistics General - Assign Factory Calendar to Plant."
d. Select your plant and enter the factory calendar ID.
e. Save your changes.
Once you have completed these steps, the factory calendar will be created and assigned to the relevant plant in SAP. You can then use this factory calendar to schedule production and other activities in your plant.
