How To Update Mint Software Center And Other Linux Mint Software On Debian.
Linux Mint 22.3 has just been released and with it an updated version of the Mint Software Center and other Mint tools. Which they have also updated on LMDE7. So I have installed the new versions on Debian 13 which I am running.
Debian and Ubuntu does not include the Mint Software Center, Captain or Mint Driver Manager in their packages. So you have to install and update them yourself.
So here is how to update Mint Software and other Mint tools to the latest version. You have to download and install the new updated versions from the Linux Mint Packages Website.

You also need to install xapp-symbolic-icons Deb package which the Mint Software Manager, Warpinator and Driver Manager now uses to display the icons. Because it is not included on Debian and Ubuntu. But it can be downloaded from Linux Mint.
