Point and Run Ep. 1 A new series where I’ll take my point and shoot camera while I’m running or going on errands. Actual street photography (not so much portrait photography on the street) is underrated. I’m challenging myself to post at least 3 times a week so more street photography to come. Check out my other series “Not a Tutorial” if you haven’t already!

Expensive gear will make you a better photographer. If I believed so, I wouldn’t have cared to take out my point and shoot camera today and document my perspective of Hong Kong, the city I grew up in.
I wouldn’t have captured this lovely old couple or the feeling of young love by accident.
Or the moment I reunited with my classmate. How we went to visit our elementary school and the hotel that hosted our graduation ceremony I never got to attend.
Or when the harbour was glistening under the sun and everyone was brought together by the sound of the waves crashing near the shore.
Or this hilarious moment when this lady was taking a photo besides a sign that warned people not to do so.
Or when this mysterious man on a motorcycle was nice enough to let a stranger take photos with what must have been one of his most prized possessions.
There’s just something about capturing 0.00001 second of someone’s life. You get to learn so much about someone but so little at the same time.
