Welcome to my channel! In this video, I will be performing the Tarantella from Bardenklänge Op. 13 composed by J. K. Mertz.
J. K. Mertz was a brilliant 19th-century guitarist and composer, known for his exceptional skills as both a guitarist and a composer. His compositions often present his virtuosity and ability to evoke a wide range of emotions. The Bardenklänge Op. 13 is a series of character pieces written in a unique Romantic style. The works of Bardenklänge is suitable for intermediate and advanced players as most pieces are relatively simple in technique, but at the same time have a high musical content. Some works, however, require a slightly higher level of technical skill, especially those in a more virtuosic style, such as the Tarantella.
