A Really Handmade Wooden Butterfly
If you have been on the internet at all recently you will have seen advertised wooden animals backlit with LEDs. They are often reputed to be handmade but I'm sceptical of that. In this video I put may woodworking skills to the test and try to actually make a wooden butterfly diorama by hand. Spoiler alert, it takes a lot more effort than the £15 price point would suggest.
Anyway this was to be a homemade Christmas gift for my mom so I can't spend forever on it but I also want it to look good. How do I balance those competing goals?
