Here are some key principles for writing a compelling CV:
— Follow the structure: personal details, profile, experience, education, interests (e.g. volunteer work) and references
— Tailor it to the requirements of the job using the profile section
— Use powerful verbs and phrases to describe your work (examples below)
— When describing your responsibilities, outline WHAT you did, and HOW or WHY you did it
— Be concise and avoid unnecessary information and be consistent with your message (i.e. if you’re a manager, talk like a manager)

— Demonstrate diversity of ability by discussing technical, organisational, relational and commercial skills
