There are many frighting tales all throughout Scottish history and folklore, battles with great sea serpents, haunting evil ghosts, great kelpies, giants and the devilish sith or fair folk. Yet above all this supernatural horror, sometimes it is things far closer to home that truly terrify us, and one of the most hideous of all, would be to awake in the cold blackness, gasping for breath in the claustrophobic nightmare of a closed coffin, panic stricken and screaming, experiencing the last agonising minutes of your life, ,truly a terrible experience, to be buried alive.
