Your chance to win up to $12,000 and
recognition for your writing.
If you are an emerging writer residing in Victoria, search your
imagination and put pen to paper (or fingers to the keyboard) and enter the Lord Mayor’s Creative Writing Awards.
Five categories with a prize of $2000 each:
• Life Writing Award for Aboriginal and
Torres Strait Islander Writers
• The Dorothy Porter Award for Emerging Poets
• Short Story Set in Melbourne
• Stories by Trans and Gender Diverse Writers
(co-presented with Seahorse Victoria)
• Narrative Non-fiction.
The Lord Mayor’s prize for the overall winner is $10,000.
