Celebrating the UN International Women's Day has become a tradition. It is inspiring to learn about what women of today bring to society. This year, The Group on Earth Observation and NextGEOSS want to showcase the work of the coming generation of women's expertise and contribution to digital solutions addressing the multitudes of challenges we face. The solutions that build on Earth observations. In GEO equality, diversity, and inclusion are important and based on an analysis of status of this work in the 4 regional GEO's we thought it would be perfect to highlight the younger generation women coming from these 4 regions. We can both learn and be inspired - and hopefully inspire all generations to improve the digital competence and capacity that includes Earth observations.
