In celebrating the UN Women’s Day with us in this webinar you will meet women in leadership, from across the globe, that rely on and use Earth observation in decision making, science, operation of global infrastructures and more. The Group on Earth observation has developed a strategy and work on implementing equality, diversity and inclusion. You will be the first to learn about this work in this webinar.

Why now: NextGEOSS celebrates the International Women's Day 2021 by inviting women from the Group on Earth Observation working on the strategy for equality, diversity and inclusion. NextGEOSS is one of the major contributions to GEO building European Earth monitoring and transforming the resulting data into information and knowledge. Women leadership and strategies for securing equality, diversity and inclusion continues to be of essence for NextGEOSS.
Who is it for: Anyone with an interest in Earth Observation and/or information technology. Additionally, women will see the many different ways they can contribute to science and technology development and parents, fathers and mothers, who want to support their daughters in choosing science and technology careers will identify several profiles of expertise.
