Our 48-day-old ducklings experienced their first marvelous rain
In the Oregon Willamette Valley, the summers are dry. It was not until August 31st that we had real measurable rainfall; about half an inch.
The rain was a light rain. That is to say, there was no thunder or lightning. It was a marvelous experience for all of us who had missed the rain, and some of us who had not experienced the rain yet.
