An Easter Meditation...
A holiday departure from the jazz idiom...
I've known this song for as long as I can remember... grew up in church, Wesley Chapel Free Methodist, in the choir under Donald Bastian, singing the alto part... the text is from John 3:16,17, and it always made me feel a special kind of way... I wanted to share a sliver of this with you this Easter.
I hope if you haven't, that you get the opportunity to hear this live, with a full choir (not just my voice x14 !!), and feel the warmth and love it transfers to my soul, every time...
