How to install the mods:
1) Download the zip file, then unzip it
2) Place the 'Better Creative Final.db' file into: %APPDATA%\Axolot Games\Scrap Mechanic\User\User_[#userid]\Save\Survival
[Next steps not required if you know how to turn on dev mode]
3) Make a backup of the file named 'SurvivalPlayer.lua' and 'SurvivalGame.lua' in:
[C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Scrap Mechanic\Survival\Scripts\game]
or
[{drive}:\{program files folder}\Steam\steamapps\common\Scrap Mechanic\Survival\Scripts\game]
4) Place the new 'SurvivalPlayer.lua' and 'SurvivalGame.lua' from the zip into the folder where the original files where located
5) That's it!
This is one of the first Scrap Mechanic Survival Mods to come out, I was working on the idea of modifying terrain generation since before the survival update so that this mod could be made. I really hope you all enjoyed the video and enjoy the mod!
The world generation mod I am working on is pretty experimental, and hard to use since there's no way to make a GUI element that I can interact with in the menu. That would allow me to set up a selection menu for world gen. So I am working on making the world gen much more powerful and usable for the public. Bigger mods will take even more time, so give the mod developers time!
Let's not forget that most mods broke in the survival update. Don't expect many scrap mechanic mods for a bit while all the devs are modifying there mods to work on the new update. This mod is a modification to main scrap mechanic files instead of an actual mod.
